About

I'm Riccardo Riccio — an Italian photographer and videographer based in Barcelona, working with companies here for over ten years.

I trained at Magnum Agency in Paris, and my documentary work has run in Vogue, Le Monde and El País. That's the eye I bring to corporate jobs: I'd rather catch the room as it actually was than line everyone up against a wall.

I shoot both stills and video, which is usually why companies call me rather than booking two crews. And I work in five languages — Italian and Portuguese are both native, and I move between English, Spanish and French through a shoot day without thinking about it. On an international conference in Barcelona that turns out to matter more than any piece of equipment.

In practice it means I show up early, learn the run of show, stay out of the way, and hand you pictures your team will genuinely want to use. Every project is handled by me personally, from the first email to final delivery. When a production needs more hands, I bring in a Barcelona crew I've worked with for years.

What languages do you speak?

Italian and Portuguese natively, plus fluent English, Spanish and French. I've lived in Barcelona for over a decade. Briefs, the shoot day and delivery can all run in whichever of those suits you — on international conferences that usually means several of them in the same afternoon.

Do you shoot video as well as photography?

Yes, both, and usually from the same shoot day. Highlight films of two to three minutes, testimonial interviews, vertical cutdowns for Reels and LinkedIn, alongside the stills. One brief, one point of contact, one invoice, and a consistent look across everything.

What does corporate photography cost in Barcelona?

Event coverage is €800 for a half day up to four hours, €1,400 for a full day up to eight. Individual headshots start at €300; team headshots are €100 per person for groups of ten or more. A 2–3 minute event film is €1,200. Editing, travel inside Barcelona and full commercial rights are already in those figures.

How quickly do I get the files?

Most projects land within 48 to 72 hours, in a private online gallery your whole team can access. If you have a press deadline the same evening, say so when you book and I'll turn selects around on the day.

Where do you travel?

Barcelona and all of Catalonia as standard, with travel across Spain and Europe for multi-day programmes and international conferences. Travel within Barcelona is included in the quoted price.

Do I own the images?

You get full commercial usage rights in perpetuity, high-resolution files, and no per-image charges. Use them wherever you like, for as long as you like.
